Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank (RVBB), an ISO 9001:2008 certified blood bank is an active 24x7 and vibrant unit of Project Life. RVBB was started in the year 1981. It is engaged in the field of transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. RVBB aims to provide safe and quality blood to needy patients in Saurashtra region of Gujarat state. RVBB is committed to develop and deliver world standards, accreditation and educational programmes that focus on optimizing patient and donor care and safety. It is also committed to contribute beyond blood banking by the whole process of voluntary blood collection, testing, storage and distribution of scientifically safe blood and make available on timely manner to the needy patients.
