Indian Medical Scientific Research Foundation is a vibrant unit of Project ‘Life’. IMSRF was started in the year 1991. It is engaged in the field of Thalassaemia prevention. IMSRF aims to eradicate Thalassemia in Saurashtra region of Gujarat state. IMSRF is committed to develop awareness and educational programmes on Thalassaemia. It is also committed to contribute to Thalassemia Major patients.
Since its inception in 1991, IMSRF has served the society in major parts of Saurashtra through continuous awareness about Thalassaemia. IMSRF has always strived to be the best, in technology, in equipment and in trained manpower.
Project ‘Life’ is an organized operational fulcrum of Saurashtra Medical and Educational Charitable Trust established in 1978. Project ‘Life’ has highly motivated and dedicated task force, resilient infrastructure and a well defined vision that transforms to missionary approach. Project Life focuses on core issues concerning socio-economic status, health, primary education, widow rehabilitation and environmental balance affecting our society.

Mass Thalassaemia Awareness – more than 13,00,000 (1.3 million)
Over 900 Thalassemia Screening camps conducted
Screened more than 17,000 ante-natal mothers
Prevented 80 births of Thalassaemia Major children.
Screened 2,27000 a students of Saurashtra University
